  3. Adjust quality and size if you like, then press Convert.
  4. Download each file, or all of them with Download all (.zip).

Which format should I choose?

  • Sending a photo or uploading to a form: JPG
  • Screenshots, logos, transparent backgrounds: PNG

If the file must be under a certain size (e.g. 200 KB), use compress image. To change the dimensions, use resize image.

Frequently asked questions

What is HEIC and why won't it open?

HEIC is the format iPhones save photos in. It takes little space, but Windows, many Android phones, government sites and most online forms cannot open it. Convert it to JPG and it opens everywhere.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion happens in your browser and your photos never leave your device. Even the HEIC decoder is downloaded to your browser and runs there.

Will the quality drop?

JPG and WebP use 90% quality by default, which you will not notice. Lower it for smaller files. PNG is lossless but files are larger.

Is the location data removed?

Yes. The new files do not contain GPS location, phone model, capture date or other hidden data. The photo keeps its correct orientation.

How many photos can I convert at once?

There is no limit. Select them all, press Convert, then download one by one or as a single zip.
