Frequently asked questions

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF and your signature are combined in your browser and never leave your device. That matters for contracts, leases and job offers.

Is this signature legally valid?

This tool adds an image of your handwritten signature. That is enough for many everyday uses (approving a quote, a lease draft, a form), but it is not a qualified electronic signature. Processes that require one need a certified e-signature.

Is my signature stored?

No. When you close the page your signature is gone. You draw it again next time.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Draw with your finger, drag the signature into place and resize it with the dot in the corner.

Can I add my name and the date?

Yes. Use the Date and Text buttons under each page.
