Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing happens in your browser and your photos never leave your device.

What does keep aspect ratio mean?

You type only the width and the height is calculated from the photo's proportions, so it never looks stretched or squashed.

How do I fit a photo into a different ratio?

Untick keep aspect ratio or pick a ready size. "Crop to fill" crops from the centre, "Fit with margins" adds white borders, "Stretch" forces the exact size.

Which size should I use for Instagram?

Square 1080×1080 or portrait 1080×1350 for posts, 1080×1920 for stories and reels.

Will enlarging make my photo sharper?

No. Enlarging adds pixels, not detail, so the photo may look soft.
